I was honoured to have the opportunity to present two of my final collection pieces at the Fashanne Award 2023 show. I was nominated for the Highstreet Menswear Award finalist, and I was thrilled to be able to share my work with such a prestigious audience.

My collection was inspired by my African heritage, football, streetwear, and afrofuture. I wanted to create pieces that were both stylish and functional, and that celebrated my cultural roots. I used traditional African patterns and textiles in my designs, and I incorporated elements of football, such the motifs on football and contemporary football jersey patterns into the garments.

I am grateful to my teachers at De Montfort University for their help and support in putting together my collection. They provided me with valuable feedback and guidance, and they helped me to bring my vision to life. I am also grateful to the Fashanne Award for giving me the opportunity to showcase my work.

I am excited to see what the future holds for my fashion career. I plan to continue to create pieces that are inspired by my African heritage and that celebrate diversity. I believe that fashion is a powerful tool that can be used to promote positive change, and I am committed to using my platform to do just that.
